My arm stopped hurting quite a while ago. That same day, in fact.
But anyway... Today, I saw a man jump out from behind some bushes, climb up the side of the ditch, adjust his coat, put his hands casually in his pockets, and walk off down the sidewalk as if nothing had ever happened. I kind of want to know what he was doing back there, but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't like it. The way the bushes and trees on that road are makes it very hard to see anything behind them. It's like a very dense forest on the side of the road.
